The inaugural Brand Africa FORUM 2010, featured a diverse group of 16 leading pan-African decision makers in media, business & economy, and nation branding. The inaugural FORUM sought to leverage and extract sustainable learnings of the successful 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa to shape the image of Africa, and to set an agenda to drive the reputation, image and competitiveness - from Africa, for Africa.

Dr. Irvin Khoza, Chairman of the successful 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa LOC set the tone with a comprehensive 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa lessons for Africa.

The FORUM, was attended by a packed audience of over 300 pan African stakeholders in media, business, nation branding. A live CNBC Africaa debate was broadcast on CNBC Africa to 41 sub Saharan African countries. CNBC Africa is Africa’s premier TV channel reporting on business in Africa from an African perspective.
